I've been playing ths game for a while so I can honestly give you a proper answer. Yes this game is pay 2 win however you can still farm your way up and be really good because most of these pay to win players dont have the proper knowledge about there class becasue they choose the easy way out of things. So it all depends on how you like to experience the game. Do you like to work for your stuff or do you want to do things the easy way. Now there is no problem with pay 2 win players guys unfortunately most people miss the fun of the game, you lose the drive to continue to play the game once you buy everything from aion shop and use real money for virtual money. On the other hand choosing to do everything in the game is no easy task you need to learn a varity of skills that includes trading, pricing, general knowledge about instances items and know how to value your items to sell to make profit. If this has helped you in anyway and would like to know more since i started playing aion when the max level was 50 so i can tell you how much things has changed and what way things are going even though everyone see it as pay 2 win learn to anticipate the broker markets, farming spots and Events pricing.

If you have an MMO that you can basically buy all of your equipment and upgrades out of your wallet, it is definitely a pay to win game. There is no way you can even argue that it isn't.

Yes and No.If you wanna reach lategame it will take quite some time farming etc.And you can do evrything in the game.Yes you can.However with money it will be sooo much more easy to reach that point.At least when it comes to "transformations".And those are very important.You get events from time to time that helps too.Sometimes A lot.So if you spend money you get to the end gear pretty faster while farming without payng is LONG as hell and transformation contracts are insanily hard to obtein.Especially the legendary+.
