Candyman for M.U.G.E.N.!
"I thought that he needed to be in Mugen, which is a fighting game that you can program characters for. Learn more here:

Here's Candyman, Mugen version made by me, FourthRhyme! He is accuarate to the source game, with a few new attacks. Check out a video of him I made here:

I take no credit for the creation and designs of Candyman, as they belong to Reptile. I just created him in MUGEN as a playable character. If Reptile wishes I take this down (can't imagine why), I will. On the other hand, let's try to get Reptile to see this because (I hope) they will like it!"

So tell me whatcha think! Any improvements and/or suggestions?

I was going to suggest some things true to the original character like controllable knockback and maybe parries/clashes, but I think you hit the nail on the head with the "few new attacks" you added.

I'm afraid nothing I could suggest would even come close to what's probably brewing in your imagination already.

Don't have mugen ready, does the normal projectile fly through the wall?

As much as I would love it to, I couldn't get it to. So looks like I have to work on that. :candyman:
I love it! This was an idea a friend and I tossed around, but neither of us could make happen. Since his spritesheet is so limited, making it difficult to have new moves, you could have moves which call other Lethal League characters hop in momentarily for an attack, tag-team style.

You could also incorporate the regular lethal ball in addition to his candyball in some way. For his victory pose, maybe you could add the 'GAME' graphic and soundbite to show on-screen.

Another special or ultra move of his, could be a chargeshot. A single charged swing that causes heavy damage. It could be a melee move, or a projectile. The projectile idea could be where he's charging (his sprite flashes white like in Lethal League) and then a ball is tossed from stage left/right for him to swing at and 'shoot' at the opponent.

I can come up with a whole lotta of ideas for this, let me know if you want to hear more. :candyman:
Oh man, MUGEN, that's been a while.

Looks pretty good. Such a weird transition to actually hit other people, instead of a ball. :P

That's pretty dope.

There are lots of moves you can try with a character like Candyman in a fighting game with clear boundaries like mugen.

As a tip, I'd say the frame data for his smash is off. After the pose with the big swoosh, there's still one leg-stretched pose lasting some 10 frames I think.

All right, looks like I have my work cut out for me. :steamhappy: I'll try to incorporate these ideas, and
update him.

Yeah, I tried to make it accurate, but I couldn't find the exact animations anywhere, so I had to reanimate them in Mugen. Thanks for letting me know!
