Review for "Assassin's Creed Liberation HD"

Before you go all out saying "You don't have this game", yes, yes I do. I have a PS Vita, and I have the game also. So this is one of the reasons why I didn't buy the new HD re-release for PC, because I already had it.

I do also have the HD re-release for the Xbox 360, mostly because I didn't know there was a PC version. Assassin's Creed III Liberation had a lot of potential for a handheld, a full-fledged 3rd Peson Assassins Creed game. And Ubisoft managed to screw it up.

I was so excited for the game, E3 2012 had it shown and man oh man did it seem like it was to good to be true. And it was. I didn't buy the game until a year after it's announcment, and I was very excited to play it since I did quite enjoy AC3. There's a lot of things wrong with the original. It's AI is awful, glitches are everywhere, the controls are almost unplayable, and none of the characters and story are interesting. I didn't enjoy it. The multiplayer was also glitchy and I didn't have any fun with it.

Then I heard an HD re-release was in production, and I actually had hopes for this. The glitches could be improved, and so could the AI. They could also update the terrible dialouge and story, and heck, add more in general. Plus the multiplayer could be improved to.

I should really shut my mouth. I had not one time where I was amazed. Most of the glitches were gone, and the game was somewhat playable, but man, I still didn't enjoy it due to the fact my character occasionally fell, died, or climbed on to a building it wasn't supposed to. They didn't improve the controls much, it felt very clunky most of the time, no hiccups in the controls, just clunky. The story is still laughbly bad in a nutshell. At least the graphics and music are not only good, there pretty much the best part of this game.

The presentation is overall the best thing to like about this game really, since none of the other parts aren't very good at all. You shouldn't pay the $20 for an unfinished, and clunky game. 4.5/10

The PC difference: I recently played the PC version at a friend's house, and I saw no glitches or bugs in the game, and of course, the game looks really good. Still doesn't change much of the score much though. 5/10

There's nothing wrong with paragraphs, true, so why don't you use them? Readibility's pretty low. I would split that into at least three paragraphs. Regardless:

No, I've played a bit of the PC version at a friends house, and it didn't improve much except the resolution and a few other things, if I gave the PC version rating, it would probably be a 5/10, at least. I saw no glitches, and the game is fairly pretty on the PC.
