♥♥♥♥ Game won't launch anymore

Until today I had no trouble starting up the game and playing it, well besides the fact that sometimes you fall trough the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ floor ingame.
But as of right now the game suddenly gives me the "ac3lhd_32.exe is not working anymore". No idea what could've led to this.

Didnt have any trouble with my AVG Anti-Virus nor Firewall before and I know that my specs are more than good enough to run the game.

Now I know this game is pretty much the worst one in the franchise, but I already have like 35+ hours in the game. And I was near completion, I just want to finish this ♥♥♥♥ so that those hours aren't wasted dammit and Im kind of an completionist.

I've opened a ticket on Ubi support, they came back with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bingo and referring to the pc troubleshooting site which lists the usual administrator rights/verifying data/gpu driver update neither of them were a solution ofc, uplay update ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up so uplay fix is needed

I opened a ticket too, but in the meantime i updated my drivers and reinstalled both ac 3 and liberation and after that it suddenly worked. Maybe ac 3 needs to be installed...Maybe u can try that?

I've already reinstalled liberation but didn't work, I'm installing ac3 now let's see what happens, it would be seriously screwed up if it solves the bug :D

Not too sure if it will help you guys, but what ended up working for me was to disable my multiple monitors set up. When I disabled my other 2 monitors so that I just had only one monitor being used/displayed, the game launched fine. Hope it helps somebody.

Got the same problem. I was able to solve it as follows:

- After installation and faulty start disconnect your computer from the internet.
- Now start Liberation HD. For me this worked.
- After initial start the game runs now also with active internet connection.

Hope that helps. And stay all healthy.

I have tried both disconnecting the internet and lauching, and running with only one monitor. Neither got the game to launch properly.

EDIT: However, disabling NVIDIA game overlay got it to launch (with both monitors running). It can be disabled with a toggle in GeForce Experience under Settings -> General -> In-Game-Overlay
