Your download may fail if your antivirus protection is too strong, simply because the patch is an executable file (exe).

If you are playing for the first time, install just the Basic patch, Plus will modify the game from the original release.

You can't just use that. The power needs teleport targets on a map to work!

I see can it be used as blink ability move forward a fixed distance? Also how do I adjust run speed in game via console?

Using it like blink is not possible. You can adjust speed in the console, check the ModDev Guide included in the patch, it has all the console commands listed...

Why the hell is such an important mod an .exe? Is it because of the Source Engine? I'm not taking the risk of turning off Defender to let this install just for it to actually be a trojan for real.

What else is it supposed to be? Maybe time to start taking security seriously yourself than blindly trusting a crap program made by a spyware company. It is not malware just bc not everyone is able or willing to pay AV companies ridiculous prices to be added to their whitelists.

Download it from the official site. I've never had an issue

i downloaded the file, but then i click to open it. it does not open. there is no start up or next button. it just sitting in my downloaded files. anyone else can help me out.

It should be an exe that you can run, if it isn't the download was corrupted or stopped.
