Is there anyway to get more subtitles?
I clicked the subtitles on and I get them during the first cutscene, but when I talk to people I don't have subtitles on their responses. Is there anyway (player mods, options I may have missed) to get subtitles for those or am I sol on this?

Just click the left mouse button while they are speaking and the subtitles should be back.

Thank you I shall try it the next time I play!

Actually I'm missing subtitles, While they appear as above they are cut off. Vocal dialogue plays nomrally but would like to have the subtitles as I'm primarly a reader. I have the community mod installed and am playing in 1080p if that makes a differnce.
This game has a weird thing where clicking the left mouse button shows/hides the dialogue during face-to-face interactions. As wesp said, just click the mouse while they are talking to you (or perhaps whatever you have bound to +attack, in the event you changed it), and it should show you their dialogue.

worked like a charm. Enjoying my first play through as a crazy person!
Remember not to rat out Mercurio to the Prince. That's very easy to do accidentally as a Malk.

I haven't got the far yet and this is my first time playing, but if I'm faced with the choice I may do just that. Some people just deserve to die!
Oh. It sounded like "first play through as a Malk" = you played through other times. I recommend against Malk (and Nos) for first timers, but that's my personal opinion. It's difficult to understand what a Malkavian is saying without the context of a previous playthrough.

It's been a blast so farand I just got downtown. I been pretty easy to understand my character option, but maybe I'm just a pro at understanding madness.

Well just got to the part where I talked to the prince. I decided to spare his peon and didn't tell him that I had to get the explosives elsewhere. I'm enjoying going the unarmed route so far.

So, I question for after I beat this: Does Wesp's unoffical patch add more quest things to do into the game? Does it nerf anyhting? And is it best to start a new game after adding it?

You should definitely start a new game, and no, it doesn't nerf anything IMHO, and yes, it adds some new quests, two completely new levels and much more in the plus version :)!

Awesome thanks for the answers Wesp, I'll definilty be checking it out!
Plus Patch does nerf Blood Buff. But Blood Buff is _way_ overpowered in vanilla/basic. I think vanilla cost 2 blood to raise all physical stats to 5 - very broken, because it can turn the wimpiest wimp into a power house. Plus patch makes blood buff cost 3 and raises all physical stats by 2 - much less broken, but I personally tweak it so blood buff costs 2 instead of 3, as lowering the stat boost *and* increasing the blood cost seemed a bit too nerfy for my taste.

Since there is a plus patch, is there another version of the patch that does not nerf it? Does it contain far less things?
