YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 4 The Ride

Volume keeps turning itself down and won't turn back up
Having an odd problem with this game. When I first started the game, the volume was set to 3. The + key, to turn the volume up, doesn't work. After the first game, the volume lowered itself to 1, and still wouldn't turn up. I edited the settings file to raise the volume to 5, and it's been slowly turning itself down again after every game. What's going on?

I'm running Windows 7 64bit, by the way.

I have a similar problem (also running it on a Windows 7 64bit machine). Every time I start a new round, the volume lowers itself a little - after a couple of rounds, that adds up. Pressing the + key in the settings doesn't work either.

Yep, having the same problem. Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Wow, this was a problem with the original game as well, how could they have not fixed it ?

I've written a guide to the workaround I use. Hope it helps.

When I restart my game it resets the volume back to the middle, have you tried this?

Also, it's strange but it seems that certain volumes (of the game) let you turn the sound back up during the credits at the end.

Yeah....That's probably a bug.
