game breaking bugs

I keep encountering bugs in car livery design/driver suit design. the game will get stuck on a camera point and i'm unable to navigate the menu.

any troubleshooting suggestions?
also is anyone else having huge issues with bugs (this will let me know if it's an issue on my end or if the game is just dogwater)

i don't know whether Frontier plan to release any more updates (would love to know..p) but i know and many i think know there are still issues with the game some consistent and predictable like the AI rain bug, and others rare and unpredictable, like when it would not allow me to fit a newly designed car part to one of my cars but it would the other, which didn't need it.. sometimes i also see what feels like random lap times even situations where the driver indicated with FL..is actually nowhere near the FL, and a car which really should not be capable of it seemingly having FL, on not even new hard tyres.......so theres still plenty of issues and Frontier know it as they have a bugs report URL where there are literally 1ooo's of reported bugs....some have been fixed others may of been false positives and others still are pending.......seemingly it feels never to be addressed.

wow sounds like you at least get your car on track before the game has to be forcibly closed. right now if i try and create a team, the game will 100% freeze up and need some good 'ol crtl + alt + del or alt + f4 somewhere along the line just viewing the car model or menu

i wonder if steam will make exceptions to the return criteria? given this game has been left almost worse than it was launched and seemingly is no longer supported by the devs. not that i want my money back but more so i'd like frontier to feel this L more than I do for simply buying their game and trying to enjoy it lmao

Not gamebreaking, but annoying.

Norris won the race, I got the podium sequence, I got the points.

But for sponsorship payment, he got a DNF and I didnt get the cash.

it's still pretty bad since these are non issues in f1 2023 manager. like honestly I can't remember the last time I came across a noticeable bug in the game. somehow 2024 regressed in development, it's like they took f1 23, added features and didn't debug it for the changes made.

we can only hope the dev team rolls out patches to fix before they fully truly abandon the title.
