My first game - help needed
1. I'm choosing drivers. What mean abbreviations Pac, Con and RC?
Pace, Consistency and ...?

2. F2 and F3. It seems that I can't be a manager in those, but...
any discussions that those would be included into F1 Manager 25, 26,...?

What about scouting.
Do I get knowledge about my drivers and staff soon enough,
or should I have them scouted, too?
Meaning - could there be info that would be revealed only (or faster) this way?

How long does it take to scout someone?
If started at June, will the info be 'too old' when contracts should be signed?

Can scouting be ended at any time?
If someone won't be suited anyhow, why do extra work...

1 Pace, consistency & racecraft......which are further broken down into sub abilities, Check the drivers profile and then the abilities tab, it even gives you a description of what each affects

2 No we can't manage in either of those 2 series (F2,F3), they are effectively only being included via proxy.,

As far as virtually anyone is factually aware of the series has now been cancelled , though this has not been "officially" confirmed by Frontier AFAIK

Hidden Information on your own drivers?.....i don't think this is the case if they are your officially signed drivers i think it also includes affiliate drivers btw, then you know their stats or rather abilities (they are your contracted drivers afterall) which you are constantly analyzing and monitoring their progression (therefore imho realistically you would more or less know their ability, which IRL obviously isn't a numerical on a scale, but it does give you an idea as well numerical like this are always going to be subjective even across experts within the sport. ..to be honest i wish manager games like this amd football manager to name but 2, should remove numerical statistical data altogether, but that's just me.

scouting depends whether you do fast scouting or normal, and the expected predicted results are discovered so complete scouting is slower but it will basically reveal virtually everything including current contract details with another team etc.. For periods and even though it's little money i sometimes am playing without scouts as i am not currently using them at these times, When you play as a poor team (my team) with low finances and the AI are not being handicapped ie not using ultra lightweight parts as a human inevitably will and they do refurbish facilities, which the ai does not do in the standard game even on difficult management settings, anyway with a team like this every bit of money saving matters,So yes you can just remove scouts but of course any "work" that they did which you ordered, will be lost meaning no scout report.

to allow the AI teams to be unrestricted as is the player in regards to refurbishing facilities and being able to use ultra lightweight parts...you need to use it with the fantastic f1 manager editor.... imho makes for a much more competitive and interesting experience. and has a lot of features that allow you to tailor the experience. In short the best "mod" for the game

Racecraft. OK.

Asking about scouting... I just thought that there might have been some method like 'hidden attributes' in FM. Without 'deeper' scouting you could find out that your chosen driver is a hothead... but after signing.

I agree on using exact numbers in skill aso. levels. The game itself can use those, of course, but we should be able to see only levels in 5 or 7 stars system. Maybe described with words. In FM some modder made a skin for that.
