Is it actually worth buying?

i want to get this game after loving the first one and enjoying the 2nd but to see barely any improvements over the 3 games is insane.

Do cars still slow down while using DRS if the game decides they can't overtake?
Is there still no animation or celebration once you win the WDC/WCC?
Are the upgrades still as brokenly powerful as they were even last year?
Is the cost cap still a completely pointless mechanic?
Can any back marker team finish on the podium within the first few races?

And Is Practice STILL boringly long with essentially zero input apart from boxing to do setup changes? (I still cannot believe there is no way to simulate these sessions in a way that let's you JUST do setup changes. Also the fact that you can't test for fuel consumption or tyre usage yourself, it's just automatically done is so boring).

I feel there is an endless list of things that could be added but at the rate they are going the series will end up being dropped.

FWIF-it looks like you have answered the question for yourself in your posting. This question has been asked before in this forum many times and in many different ways...some say "yes"...some say "no"...opinions differ. Google F1 manager 2024...another source of multiple opinions for and against.

If i'm wrong and most of these are fixed or go against what I expect then I'd buy it, if not then I guess the answer is no. It's hard to find exact answers to these questions without just watching a bunch of playthroughs.

They still havent fixed BIG Bugs. Depending on their current speed, ask again in a month or so, DONT buy it yet.

I bought the Game on Xbox so I thought I'd throw my opinion in and wow I actually cannot believe how broken it is. I mean it's fully playable and far better than 2023 (I like the messages now react to traffic and team orders) but all the menus are constantly displaying misinformation that become increasingly confusing.

I had the end race screen display Russell as a DNF and Hamilton 20th despite Hamilton finishing P6.

Then the starting grid showing a race order that was literally just random and had no correlation.

I've had teams stay in the pits in Quali despite the track drying up.

Some things also seem to make no sense like how tyres overheating only degrade faster and don't effect mistakes which they should.

Replays are still wonky and weird.

Some radio messages stillj ust don't play which should NOT happen on the 3rd installment.

Worth on sale but I really hope they focus on improving it all next year.
