Will this game ever get any updates again?

They have no duty to support this game any longer and didnt support the past games beyond end of year from their respective release.

VERY unlikely that any more updates come.

lmfao, how uncanny is this post, I have just noticed an update for f1 manager 23, in my library huh wtf?, am i imagining it and this post, or have frontier got their games mixed up??....

We absolutely don't know they've lost the license, all we know is they're not making a new one as sales arn't as expected. They might well still retain the license they bought (4 years, so one more)
There would be nothing in that which would prevent them patching/improving already released games. But, it would be a bit of a stretch to think they would do anything substantial.
They've dropped this as there's not enough profit (if any) to make it worth while. Which means the dev team are going to be ear marked for other projects. I would think the bulk of the team have already switched to other projects.
If there's any more work done, i would suspect it would just be a bit of bug fixes. It's possible a smaller team will spend a bit more time on this. But you won't get more features.

Did they lose the licence? My impression was they didn't make nearly enough money on 22,23 and 24 sales so they decided to cut their losses and not spend the development cost to make the 25 version, the last one they had licence for.

looks like it will, and ii am pretty sure nobody thought it would...quite big so this could fix some of the few major problems......always new Frontier are not EA ie Electronic Arts,,, thx

Yea i agree. I’m happy about this update, thankfully they actually update the game properly

They did not update their game even if they had their license :D ... bought first one pre-sale. Learned my mistake. Frontier always stand as prime developer but with F1 they hit their new low.

Also F1 manager where you can't manage half of things. They should look at Football manager how detailed management it was ... this games never worth more than 10 euros
