ERS quick question!

Guys, any idea when NOT to use "ERS Battle Assist" while on Deploy?
I mean, in which scenario would you use Deploy WITHOUT "ERS Battle Assist"?
To me Deploy = Battle = Battle Assist :) Am I missing something?
Any other experienced tip on how to manage ERS during the race is much welcome!

One thing to note is that ERS is not a PTP system. tho it can be used as one. with that said the only time i turn off battle assist is when i am saving the battery for a big push and i don't want the driver to use it outside of the map.

Battle assist reduces your lap-times by forcing the driver to hold his battery for overtaking zones exclusively. You should only need to use it if a driver ahead of you is even on lap-times and is blocking you from passing. At any other time its a waste and should be avoided.

Instead just use "drive in clean air" during a DRS zone to execute an easy overtake.
