Underfueling ai cars
I noticed most ai cars underfuel by up to 20 kg. At least when I Iook at the menu in the race that shows how much battery every car has left and the temperatures and so on I can see the ai cars are all around 20 kg lighter than my cars. Is it normal they underfuel by that much? I play on hard by the way, not sure if that makes a difference.

I also dont like the speed bursts, every now and then they will set a lap that is 2-3 seconds faster then their usual laptime which is unrealistic imo, i guess drs and ers are overpowered at the moment.

Could they also be lighter from developing lighter but less durable parts?

I noticed it in the 2nd and 3rd race of the season so I doubt they all developed that quick and by that much.

On Hard the AI gets some buffs, i mean, you wanted it harder and creating a "better" AI that can fine tune is hard. Way easier to just make the AI use less fuel, have faster charging ERS etc.

Deploy on ERS is really Strong, roughly a Second per Lap on Normal Race diffyculty.

its not weight from design. they underfuel and manage to get to the end. i underfuel but always run lean performance to avid eng temps so melburne is 23kgs less than prompted and it can be as low as 8kg. but i looked at this and all ai cars underfuel in every race.

Do they do that also on ‘normal’ race difficulty?

I tried the race Replay at Spa as Williams and there the ai did not underfuel. It was easier to keep up early on but perhaps race Replay is on normal race difficulty by default?
