Yeah, money is tight the first season. Although I'm pretty sure the engagement and performance sponsorship money isn't included in your budget. Unless you're talking about losing money in your monthly income, in that case your drivers/staff/facilities are just too expensive for your income. You have to be really careful with what you're spending. Personally I'm just going to gamble that I won't get fired for finishing last in the first season and put all the money I can into research for the next season.

Also sign new affiliates ASAP, I am paying my crappy affiliates (55 rating) 2.8 million per year, my 71-75 drivers are only getting 2 million per year, I just signed 2 17 year old women from other F1 teams for 300k each for next season^^
Put 999,999,999$ problem fix :steamsalty::steamhappy:

Prize Money is winnings from last season, so of course a new team won't have any.

We're not talking about prize money we're talking about income during the season, from sponsors & races not being enough to sustain the team, Especially when my 71 rated driver wrecks 4 parts per race 4 races in a row lol....

If you're fighting at the back and strapped for cash you should fire all of your affiliates. Paying 1 mil upfront for the breakout clause is cheaper than paying 2.6 mil over the year.

Would love to, if I didn't have to keep spending every scrap of money making new parts so I can continue the season ;)

So in season 2 you get more money, confirmed?

It would actually help if your engagement sponsors pay the money they promise. It's not great that the game tells you that you'll get 3.6 million that period and then when it ends you only get a third of that.

I would assume so; I've no idea what the 11th place prize money would be, but the 10 2023 teams are getting their 2023 winnings paid out regularly over the 24 season.

If you're lucky enough that it only costs 1 million to do so. If I want to fire both of them it's going to cost me over 4.5 million, which I don't have and I'm going to need it more for paying for new power unit components. At this point create a team is just fundamentally broken and I'm going to give up on it until it gets fixed.
