Mid race saving

Can anyone who played the game answer a question? Is it possible to save game mid race or just between practice/quali/race sessions?

You can save the game midrace, except when it is red flagged, but can save again as soon as the race resumes.

that's awesome thanks! in previous ones you could only save between sessions I believe.

In F1M '23 this was already possible, so yeah, you can save mid race.

In F1 Manager 2024 you can save and load your progress at any time you want, in the menus, during practice, during qualifying and during races. That option is just what I needed to buy the 2024 version.

I don't know if it saves from the lap you're in though. When I saved my race it saved the session with somthing like 'lap 1' included in the title name - I was on lap 28 . I ended up finishing the race so not sure but it read like it saved the progress of the weekend to the race session but not the progress of the session

You can save your progress at any minute, second and tenth of the race at any point on the circuit and only when the safety car comes out you can't save, but that's not a problem since the races are long and you have the freedom to save, exit, load as many times as you want.

I recommend disabling Steam Cloud saving to avoid confusion and locate your save files on your own system. I also recommend loading your saves manually avoiding the menu shortcut.

Yes I generally avoid using autosaves and prefer doing it manually.
