It also works very good on the Steam Deck.

F1 manager 2024 is a great game and without a doubt a benchmark for the future. I'm finally enjoying playing it, but there's still a lot of optimization work to be done.

It's getting as good as Motor Sport Manager with the Heli View Camera.

Would like to choose race distance & of course moving up from F3 to F2 & then F1.

Moving up from F3 all the way to F1 would be amazing for this game. I hope they add that into the game.

Once they fix the AI development, contract, mentality, UI, crashes yeah it'll be a good game. But not in its current state..

Good points. What’s the issue with crashes? Also, I think a recent patch was meant to address the AI car development issues.

Some things like track limits or Leaving the track and gaining an advantage should be looked at.
The mentality system is really bad.
A 18th ranked driver on P13 with worn hards gets upset when Hamilton passes him on new softs in DRS.
The track acclimatisation is absurd. 70 laps to get to 100%.
Car part knowledge. No knowledge is gained during the race.

Once they fix the issue of AI not developing new parts then yeah I think this game will be so fun to play.

It has far too many bugs at the moment to be acceptable. However, it is a fun game and I hope we get more support than the game did last year after it bombed.

One other thing.
Why do the top drivers go out for a second run on new softs in Q3 when they are 2 seconds ahead of the cut off?

IRL that is?, good question. maybe because "practice makes perfect" ideology,? which i don't agree with necessarily but everyone is different; so more laps equal more presumed consistency in the race.. regardless of your margin of safety, of course on the other hand you will likely benefit from saving rubber.p maybe this is something to ponder as a mechanic (pun inteded) for the future

IRL they do. The only reason why they go out again is to see if the track changed.
In F1 Manager 22 I did one season with Ferrari.
Q1 and Q2 I came through with one set of mediums.
Now I started with a new team which is on the fringes of Q2. When I get to Q2 I look at the times and when I see that I might get 14 instead of 15 i'm not gonna use a set of new softs.
I rather use the new softs in the race to make punch.

I also like the fun, I get more irritated because they always do the same ♥♥♥♥, I like strategic sports games, I have Football Manager all editions since it was born, and I decided to change, I bought F1 Manager 23 and now 24, but, unfortunately, despite being happy to be able to make my own team when I started playing, the rest is the same or worse, better said, incomplete in the news, they could have done much better in such simple things , It is then completely normal for many players to be disappointed when they see incomplete things, or poorly optimized news.
