Game crashes when I try to create new team

I bought this because I thought the "new team" feature was cool. Unfortunately, every time I try to set up my new team's livery (specifically team uniforms) the game hard crashes. Is anyone else having this problem? Are there any workarounds?

Well I created a team just fine, you wouldn't have modded the game at all right? like that real sponsor mod that is already out for the game, obviously you would most likley have to make the team then add that mod,

of course I could be wrong and you're not trying to make a new team with the mod installed, in which case it'd be strange that you're crashing when others aren't

no i don't modded it so i can't understand... i can create a team but the game freeze during the conception of the car

I have the same problem, runs fine with one of the current teams but something causes it to freeze when I use my own team.
Also had it crash when editing livery, managed to get to the start screen by just clicking through quickly, but once I load the game it just freezes.

It crashes at random spots not just Create a Team. I went to DX11 to see if it helps and it does not. 9700k and a 2080 on this rig. Completely unstable. Ive sent like 5 error reports in a 2 hr window.

When i make a team , all works ok for 1 race, then when you go to save to move on game crashes.
Ran 2 races without saving, half way through 3rd race game crashed, please sort this out with patches Frontier, i cant be the only one suffering.

I was able to get past team construction when I messed with my vidcard settings a bit, but the game crashed during the first race.

I've managed to get it working by changing the graphics api to dx12 in the display settings

Nah, I'm just in "waiting for patch" mode. I'd refund, but I bought the game from a third-party site (not a key reseller, just another store) so refunding would be a pain in the ass.
