Every session, 2 Sets Tyres will be taken away. if you used 2 or more sets at end of session, the 2 lowest % Sets will be taken away.
If you used less then 2 Sets, then the used and the softest unused will be taken away.
Work Around: mark Tyre sets by Driving out of pit and directly back into pit if you dont want to use them.
This is how i use tires
P1 use 2 soft tires set for 20 lap runs. call them in after 5/5 adjust and bounce them back out. at most tracks you should get 3(ish) runs.
P2 use 2 med tires. set the first for around a 30 lap run. let them stay out till done then change to the other med tire for about a 10 - 15 lap run and done. (this assumes you are close to finishing your setup my the start of P2)
P3 Hard tire on 30 - 40 lap run. let it run till all 100% then done. don't go out for any reason other then setup & percentages.
at the end of P3 you should be down 3 soft tires (2 in P1 & 1 in P3) 2 med tires and 1 hard tire.
If you further wish to save tires then use scuffs from Q1 in Q2 and only go out once in each session. (if able) the drop off between 2 Q laps is not much. if you know you can easy make Q3 (or know you will easy not make it) best to save tires. and always sticker Q3 of course.
