Summer break and pit crew training

So I made it through season 1 summer break and it seems like there is no “summer shutdown”. I was able to train my pit crew and it looks like it would allow me to manufacture new parts.

Does the game reflect the real summer break rules as what I’ve seen so far it does not?

Also, is it just me or does the pit crew fatigue reset to well rested at the start of every month no matter how tired they are at the end of the last month?

In my experience, it feels like 1st day of the month's schedule is actually an automatic offday so they get to lose extra fatigue.

Re: Break - it's just for races, in real life, they don't shutdown completely for 1.5 month (tho they might have people on vacation which the game ignores)
