F1 Manager 2024 added to my favorites list.
There are plenty of tools you can use to change that. Speed up game use cheat engine. Use we-mod to change what ever outcome you want. If not and want to play legit less save. Unless its bugged crashing enc.
Saving and loading serves to protect progress against any inconvenience, such as errors, factory bugs, unexpected exits to the desktop or simply because the power goes out in your house. Is it so difficult to understand that?
Saving and loading is also very useful when you have little time and don't want to watch the race at x2, x4, x16...
Implementing the load and save option does not force you to use it. It could even be useful for a fundamentalist like you.
Including the save and load option does not exclude you as a player, but it does exclude me as a player and as a customer.
I bought F1 Manager 2022 and stopped playing it because it didn't have that option included in the game. Thank you!! That means F1 Manager 2023 has lost at least one sale. If for some inexplicable reason F1 Manager 2024 does not include that option, they will again lose another sale.
If you like extreme simulation, you can also use a fan to feel the speed or connect a car battery to your fingers to feel a shock every time you crash or go off track. Please, it's just a video game.... Don't suffer!!
By the way, I never cheat in any video game, unless you consider saving and loading as cheating. By the way, even the best simulation games offer the option to load and save.
The problem is not the option to save and load, but the weak of heart with fear of certain temptations.
In any case, my question remains in the air. I have tried to confirm that the save and load option exists and I can't find anything. I can't buy something I'm not going to use.
Speeding up races also takes time and is not pleasant for me.
If you are not able to understand this, I doubt you can be successful in any video game. In that case, the save and load option is ideal for you, but not for the reasons stated here.
There is :-Don't use if you don't like it. Simple.
Are you saying you are to weak to be able to resist?
You want to tell people how to play a single player game? Obnoxious, righteous (add word)
Sorry if I am missing what you are trying to get at.
To me its a single player game and you can play as you want. I don't like save scumming it, so don't do it otherwise there is no challenge.
Unfortunately with today's games they are made buggy and unstable so sometime you need to save regularly so game doesn't crash and lose all data. Which can happen with this game.
As said if players are to weak and feel the need to save scum maybe this isn't the type of game they should be playing but it should still be there choice. There are lots of games were you can impose your own restrictions to make it harder on yourself.
You just need the strength to resist cheesing game which for me spoils the fun, but guess some people will like to beat the game without trying to hard.
So recap:- choice should be players.
P.S. thanks for discussion mate.
F1 Manager 2024 has improved many aspects and I think it is really worth having in my library. But again, I can't always play 2 hours straight. That is my only reason to save my progress at any time.
Greetings.
this... This is why I started saving during key points of a race. I literally had one of my cars bug out entering the pits once and wasn't able to control my car anymore, then got disqualified because hadn't changed tires.
Iron man saves are highly regarded imo. I think we have paradox game achievements on steam to thank for this terrible trend/debate.
It's not like one wins a $1million dollars for obtaining an achievement, so it's hardly demeaning anything if we were to save.
The only one who is going to know if you "cheated" an achievement is yourself in 95% of cases.
saving "almost" whenever you want should just be a common practice.
We didn't even get into the fact some people have to go to work or in my case dude, i've already played a game for 20 straight hours, i really need to go to bed before I have a heart attack.
the topic been more about how games in general do saves, not that you can save at different points, that was already answered in relation to past games.
we don't know what 2024 does as the game isn't out yet.
