Each zone has 3 levels and a bossfight.
Each level has 3 floors.
Each floor has 3 segments.
Each zone has 3 stages to choose from, and a 4th stage being the bossfight.
Each stage (not bossfight) has 3 floors. First floor is the exploring, scrolling where you cover alot of group. Second floor is more rushed and randomized, such as having Death chase after you, having fireballs landing, or getting chased by endless spiders int he dark. Third floor is an arena type of fighting, where you have to take down waves of enemies. In short, your goals go from staying alive and pushing thru waves, to rushing, to fighting hell of numbers in waves the arena stage.
Which makes it all the more surprising that there isn't an endless RNG mode. I mean, they very evidently have the code in place. They even already have it in use...
