this game or a totally remastered Gauntlet Legends?

I mean completely crisp and pristine Gauntlet Legends with great online coop play. I'd rather play that game overall.

I'd rather not play a game that is mechanically inferior in every possible way when it comes to gameplay, so I'll stick with this version of Gauntlet. :)

Gauntlet with indepth skilled character play and the ability to just keep improving. Thats what this Gauntlet offers and I don't know why I would want anything less.

Go solo the final boss with warrior on Unfair difficulty with 3 extra players that purposely kill themselves off the bat (then they must not respawn) and die 0 times yourself, then come back. K thnx bye.

i even think this version have gone very low tech with the whole fully console design

This Gauntlet.

As much as I loved the older Gauntlets, this one has warmed up on me. I love the attack features gave it a Seven sorrows (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gauntlet:_Seven_Sorrows) feel. Improved the gameplay but the levels are seriously lacking. I really want them to drop a level creator.

I never got a chance to play Gauntlet Dark Legacy. A used game cube copy runs ike $200 something to well over $300 LOL. But it looks like it runs off the original Gauntlet Legends Engine.....

thats what im banking on. after this gauntlet is done with its run hopefully they make dark legacy/legends style gauntlet.

Although latency issues are a bit maddening(enemies warping around, allies dying to seemingly nothing).

gauntlet legends is the best gauntlet game ever made. The adventure, the items, the whole system was great. The need to feel like you are in the game is important and the new gauntlet doesn't do that because of the viewpoint. I agree with OP.
