Best Relic for Wizard?
What is the best relic for wizard? Ring of mirrors seem really good for focusing down tomestones from what I have seen.

I think there is no real 'the best Wizard Relic'. I for one use the Lute and the Gargoyle but i think the others are in the same way good or bad. A matter of taste i believe. As far as i can see there is no Relic which is corresponding explicitly to the Wizard Skills but maybe someone else will tell us a good Combo. I am curious.

Depends on if you're a solo-nuker or a team player. If you're going solo-nuke, Chaos Amulet and Siren's Lute are pretty useful. The Amulet, for taking towers down quick by activating the Amulet in a far corner of the room-- the Lute, for kiting monsters away from the towers, then activating it, then running back to the towers and nuking them while it is active and healing your character. The Ring of Mirrors is also a good choice. Ghost Orb is not-so-useful in it's early stage. Unless you're gonna grind it out, it's best to save up for Ring of Mirrors...

Lute for healing team mates on Unfair difficulty ( since you can't eat the food ). I think I have the crystal that attracts monsters - it takes the heat off the melee characters.

I find the crystal generically useful, on all characters.

Ring of mirrors is amazing on wizard when combined with a big AE attack like the fireball mortar. It will basically clear everything on half the screen and do good damage to towers.

For offense it isn't going to get much better than that. You don't really need a defensive relic because the wizard has so many escapes. The lute wouldn't be terrible since it helps the team and heals everybody a bit. The golden feather really only works in organized groups, otherwise people just destroy it.

what does the golden feather do? description says it polymorphs two enemies? That sounds awful unless it worked on bosses.

Transforms them in food I guess.

Ring of Mirrors is god-like lol. My secondary is either the Flute or the Gargoyle. Personally I like more powa so I opt Gargoyle because that way I can get two fighting potions off instantly without having to wait for a cool down.

if you use relic then lute and mirror:
using any of them will result in a dead spawner :)

The feather turns two enemies into food that run around, that you can then eat. It can be helpful on unfair, once you get good at avoiding damage, so you don't need food all that often. I prefer the lute in 3-4 player games though, since it heals everyone, and allows everyone to clear some mobs and work on a tower without taking damage.

Lute and Mirrors are the staple. But the attack speed boots can do the same dps to summon stones and bosses. It also seems to lower cooldowns, so it even has merit OVER Mirrors in some regard. It's at least worth putting money into for budget while you work on saving.

Chaos Amulet - Drops a Black stone that attracts all monsters to it, when destroyed it explodes dealing an AoE damage around it. Great for taking out spawners as it'll also deal decent damage to them on top of all the mobs in the area. Lasts for a good amount of time as well giving you a lot of time to attack things before it explodes.

Imp ( forgot name of relic ) - Summons an Imp that spams an explosive projectile, lasts for a fairly long time for a relic and can have multiple out. Enemies will attack it if they're closer to it then you. Can be killed by traps although, but is fairly useful for giving yourself another teammate sort of speak.

Lute - Enemies stop attacking you ( and I believe your party ), also regenerates a noticeable amount of health, but normally doesn't heal you and your team completely if low. Lasts for a somewhat short amount of time.

Ring of Mirrors - Gives you 3 clones who spam fire ball, lasts for a short amount of time from what I've seen. Good for 4x your DPS to deal with a spawner or large amount of enemies.

I personally dont see relics good for any specific class, instead i see certain relics good for specific chapters or boss rooms.

The only time i would see relics good for a specific class is if Gauntlet had a PvP dungeon where we can PvP it UP!!!

That would be awsome (hint, hint DEV's!)
