I'm sorry you're experiencing technical difficulties with the game. If Alt + Enter does not work, please keep clicking on the Gauntlet tab on the taskbar until a mini-window of the game appears next to the tab. Then, right-click on the mini-window and click Maximize, or you can navigate to the options and put the game in full screen mode. Please let me know if you are still experiencing issues after following the above instructions.

Yeah, I don't get it either.
right click and edit with notpad
its all squeezed together but look for the following settings:
borderless_fullscreen = false
fullscreen = false
and change them to "true"
borderless_fullscreen = true
fullscreen = true
