I'm hoping my Microsoft rep will throw me a XB Elite controller to try out in the coming days. But Helldivers is definitely fun. I need to dive in more but have been playing mostly RB6 Siege and Fallout 4.
Hammerwatch was just tediously dull compared to Gauntlet.
NOX is too, although I`ve not tried that mode.
Torchlight I & II (preferably modded) if you`ve not tried them. Much larger games from what I recall too :D
Warning, it is a very high learning curve & very fast paced (except for souls maps.).
But, there are Clans that will help train players that can be found on the Paradox forums & via steam, plus plenty of tips on youtube too.
Bonus, it is free to play.
Stick with it, once learnt, it is faaaaaaaar too addictive.
You can co-op at four, but you can clear it solo or duet or whatever.
