For Endless mode. Probably Warrior. I myself prefer to solo with Wizard, but it's slower.
Murder+The Prize+Boots of Ranadam. I believe you'll nearly one-shot Summoning Stones with the potion buff. Don't pop a potion while the boots are active, and vice versa. Anyways, this Thor has massive burst damage and massive DPS.
VALKYRIE
Wrath of the Heavens+Thyra's Vow+Tempest Locket. Smite, like every Weapon Ability besides Extreme Prejudice, leaves Thyra in dire need of more crowd control (and invincibility frames). The upgraded Heavy Slash helps some, but It's basically up to the player to make up for Wrath of the Heavens weakness, and it is seriously not easy. If you are able, however, oh boy are you in for a hell of a ride! In case you still don't get it, don't bother with this unless you are an advanced Valkyrie player.
WIZARD
The Hollow Chapters+Merlin's Bookmark+Siren's Loot. Two simple tricks turn Merlin into a total beast. Trick 1: rapidfire Dark Torrent. Since each cast of this spell does a set amount of damage and there's no set limit on how fast it can be spammed, Dark Torrent simply melts everything. Trick 2: Vacuum a mass of enemies into a Summoning Stone/Boss, then charm with Siren's Loot. Watch Summoning Stone's/Boss' hitpoints evaporate.
ELF
The Messenger+Questor's First Arrowhead+Boot of Ranadam. One-shot multiple Summoning Stones with a potion, two-shot multiple bosses with a couple potions, or even better, do all of that at the same time! Then we have Mortar Shot, with its stupid fast recharge and bunker-busting direct hits. Fire a Mortar Shot, then pop Boots of Ranadam and you can take down a Summoning Stone just as fast as Thyra's Smite. Also, Mortar Shot's stage 1 projectile does full damage against enemies it passes through!
NECROMANCER
Necrotic Vessel+Dream Catcher+Ring of Mirrors. This build is all about snowballing. The more enemies there are, the more powerful Lilith can be. The method generally goes: max out soul power->cast Ring of Mirrors near a very large swell of enemies->immediately get to a decent position and spam Summon Archers whilst spamming Ghostwalk and your attacks. If the screen is filled with enemies, consider popping a potion or two on top of two seperate enemy masses. If the conditions are right, and you set yourself up properly, your minions will be putting out more DPS than 6 players combined (if it were possible to do so).
Hmm... Preference and unique play styles aside, I guess it all boils down to what weapon (weapon ability) and talisman (potion ability) you'd select. Each character can manage, I believe and be the best.
Campaign on Easy, Medium and Hard mode can be easily finished by memorizing moves and techniques of the five playable characters and also the monsters. Plus the levels don't change.
As for the Endless mode, you may have to decide whether you're going to go deeper fast or by taking your time, before you play, so that you could select wisely what weapon and talisman you'd take advantage of.
and thor as my 2nd choise
3 valcyrie...
can´t handle the necro don´t know why
and i am very clunky with the wizard too maybe i will get better with it.
But I think as with most games with multiiple classes, you'll never get the same answer. :)
