Gauntlet Dark Legacy

I have 3 very important questions about Gauntlet Dark Legacy that I hope the people here might have an answer to.

1. Is there a way for me to play Gauntlet Dark Legacy on my computer?
2. If there is, then can I also play with other people?
3. If I can, is there anyone out there who wants to play with me?

Greetings everyone I happened upon this post, and I realize it is 2 years old, I was seeing if anybody is still up to play Dark Legacy coop. It is possible using the Dolphin emulator, and you can play with 4 players, and each player can use their own save data, so no character wipes after you leave the game.

If you know how to get Gauntlet 1985 running online in a 4 player I would be down for that. Yes I was that teenager in the 80's that played all day on one credit and had the machine turned off on me many times.

there is a way to play the 1985 gaunlet has well using dolphin look for midway arcade treauser's that's there is to it.

Hey did you ever find Gauntlet Dark Legacy for PC? I only have it on PS2 but would love for it to be on PC! I did find another Gauntlet on steam that looks just as good and is co op or multi player but it isn't the Dark Legacy.

Thanks for sharing this! I still play it on PS2, finally bought the game a few years ago for PS2 lol . My dad and used to rent it at blockbuster but wouldn't get very far before having to return it lol 😂. I was born in 92 lol

I have Dolphin and I have the game download. I can even get it to start up. However it won't let me get past the start screen and I have no idea how I would play with other people if I did.

2 • Yes, and it's quite stable ,better than most games do baked in multiplayer these days, as long as you aren't running on dial up or really bad wifi.

Yes, this game here looks good...yet THEY would of made even more cash if they had of brought back the version I used to play as a kid (the orig)...slapped some 4K graphics on it and enabled you to play online with steam. Heck even use AI (everyone is raving about it these days) to do the upscaling. Very little effort would be required, and yet EVERYONE would enjoy it, and it would rake in MASSES of cash for any dev.

While I agree with you on people would have enjoyed the original I disagree on it making more money. See the problem comes with variety. If you are playing a mp party based game and start up with a group and everybody is using the Valkyrie, well your character just doesn't feel very unique. Dark Legacy has 14 classed to choose from compared to 4. Yes many of the classes are reskinned versions of the originals the fact that the chances of me starting a game with other people using the exact same class is much lower. You can believe that the character is your own. Yes this seems like a childish reason but people like to be original. (I'm sure you have that game where you would be furious if somebody else picked your main)
