Ending phrase

Anyone who is still playing Slayer Edition: I have a question.

If you beat the game and sit through the credits and wait for about 60 seconds, your character will say a line, in the case of the Valkyrie she says "I still don't have the power I need to bring justice to the false king. There must be another way."

Has anyone gotten a different ending after beating the game. If so, what? It seems that this indicates something else must be done other than just beating Morak.

Maybe it's a plug for endless mode? I'm not sure. It could just be the writer's way of showing that the characters quest on after the game is done. Also, they may have been planning a second game that just didn't pan out.

Each one of the characters has a phrase. I'll have to beat the game as each player to get them, but they all sound open-ended.

Wizard: "No time for idling. There is power to be held elsewhere. I know this relic, it's caled the Crown of Aghaban".

I will try to get the rest of them to you as I write them all down.

Elf: "So that was the Gauntlet. I'd like to go somewhere a bit more outdoorsy for my next adventure. Someplace with gold."

Warrior: "I do not yet live in the legends. I must perform an even more heroic feat. Preferably with something to show for it."

"As expected, the wheel keeps turning. I'm sure the next quest will be successful though, If I just keep trying *sigh*"

Just wait a few years, another Gauntlet game will come out eventually. There always has been another, there likely always will.
