What's generally the best weapon for Warrior?
I'm using Destructo-Spin right now, it does good work against thick crowds and generators, although it does leave me a bit vulnerable after it ends. Is this a decent/ideal skill for the Warrior, or am I better off with Turbo Slam? I'm really skeptical of Cleave.

Obviously going with Ring of Mirrors and More of Thor for my potion ability, just need to pair it with the right weapon.

The warrior is one of the few characters that you can play safely with almost any weapon. I would say the "Call to War" (the one that changes his insta-kill attack for a throwing axe) is the only one I wouldn't recommend to use in Endless. I personally use the "Demon Cleave" just to abuse the super short cool down of the weapon skill.

Now as for your particular question: The Destructo-Spin .. yes! this attack does leave Thor vulnerable when it finishes. Some people combine it with the ice ring so that they can use the ring at the end of the attack and be safe... but that just dumb as the ring and the destructo-spin don't have the same cool down and the ring won't be ready for the next time your skill is ready.

As for the relic... since Thor best potion skill is The Price (the one that makes Thor a giant), you have to get used to take the Ranadam Boots with him, specially in Endless. The boots is THE RELIC for Thor! Not only you get to abuse of your weapon skill if you use the Cleave (while the boots are active, the cool down cuts in half!) but also the boots negate the negative effects of the potion skill! Thor is usually slow when a potion is used but follow that with the boots and now he's just super fast AND STILL A GIANT! You can decimate tons of enemies with this combo! and if you use it for summoning stones, you at least can destroy 2 stones for sure! (if soloing, and the stones are close, even 3!). Now go and exterminate the minions from hell with Thor! :D

I'm not sure I can do that with the Warrior. I can play passively with the Valkyrie because the shield affords me that option, but I don't feel comfortable playing that way with the Warrior. I just don't want to be playing in a manner where I use my skill, dash around the map avoiding everything until it's off cooldown, use it again, rinse repeat etc. That's cowardly to me. I want to play aggressively with the warrior, beating face and taking names, not having to cherry pick my moments and then running for my life until another opportunity opens up. That's completely counter-intuitive to what the Warrior is all about.

Also, I love my Ring of Mirrors, even on Valkyrie.

Well, I gave Murder a try, and it does do quite a huge chunk of damage, dovetailing nicely with a shorter cooldown. The problem is that it's hard to tell how much range this weapon has because the tracer is deceptive, it seems like it misses enemies directly in your face and hits stuff further away then its tracer would suggest. It's an awkward weapon, and it's also not cool losing the defensive properties of Destructo-Spin. Boots of Ranadam makes up for this somewhat with its slowing effect, but there's still a lack of crowd control that leaves Thor vulnerable when he's surrounded.

Ring of Mirrors also seems to pair better with Destructo-Spin. True, it can't really be used as a crutch because of the long cooldown, but if you drop the summons just as your spin ends, all the enemies around you will have something else to focus on and you can escape until the next opportunity opens up. For that reason I tend to save it for when my spin lands me in a horde of enemies or I'm surrounded while smashing a summoning stone, drop it so I have some cover, then make my escape. It works well for the most part.

Still, I don't know about the Warrior. I'm trying to play him like he's the tanky meat shield that sits still and holds the line beating face endlessly (he DOES have the most HP, after all). I DON'T like playing "hit and run." I can't just run around the map constantly waiting for cooldowns, not getting into the thick of battle. I just can't play that way. I won't.
When you run over your enemies, it's not just "waiting for cool down" you are doing, enemies do get hurt with the attack and you can kill them by running into them while you are completely invincible. If you are in a party, this move also helps your party since mummies, shamans and cultists that are down cannot shot their annoying attacks to the party. Think of it like the "freeze" spell of Merlin: while the enemies are down, the party has time to breath and regroup. :)

Well, if YOU say I play an okay warrior, I'll take your word for it. I just need to practice then.

For me buddy, the best combo is the talisman that gets you big + demonic cleave axe + boots of randam. The boots give you attack speed, slows nearby monsters and shortens even moee you demonic cleave cooldown when used! And even more: Use the boots of randam after using the relic, and you become a death machine :p
With this set-up its easy to kill hordes... just don't give your back away, attack only if the enemies are in a 150 º degree of your character POV, so they dont go to your back when you are attacking. :D

Demonic Cleave, More of Thor potion and Fast boots is my load out. Demonic cleave I like because of the fast cool down, and path clearing, More of Thor because its the most OP potion of them all, and Fast Boots becuase I play the Run Style, and Speed equals life in Gauntlet.

Nobody likes Destructo-Spin?
Destructo-Spin is fine if you really like it! There are a lot of Thor players playing in 4-digit floors using the spin and the ring of mirrors with no problem. But when talking about, "what's more destructive?" the Cleave+boots combo takes the crown! :)

My choice: Cleave, Prize, Lute. I was very noob with Cleave at first (especially with targetting, using keys+mouse), but after some practice its fast and high damage convinced me against the Spin. Also lute is very helpful in solo, when i get help to destroy those spawners from the mobs.

Maybe i will try the Boots of Random, but that means im alone.

Boots help with crowd control though since they slow everything around you, giving you a chance to get things under control.

I like both builds, to be honest:

Destructo-Spin
More of Thor
Ring of Mirrors

Demonic Cleave
More of Thor
Boots of Ranadam

They're both good at different things. DS-MoT-RoM is better for survival, DC-MoT-BoR is better for general play.
