if you are a new player and you join a high level game you need to understand a few basic rules.
1. last coin is always the hosts to use or designate to whoever they see has the best chance of progressing the level.
2. always buy potions over coins but dependent on what character you play, warrior for example should be given preference for potions at begining of levels.
3. on levels where death is chasing you"death cannot be killed" you need to just run to the end until a room locks and then kill whatever to unlock and run some more.
4. different hosts have different playstyles, some like to kill all, others like to run and only fight when a room locks.
5. to play at higher levels without being kicked do not enter with a fresh character and read the above, older player will know you are new just by the fact you have no relics etc and by how you play.
6 the community for gauntlet is actually quite good with a lot of regular players and its a rewarding game once you get the feel of it. welcome to you if you are a new player and I look forwards to seeing you ingame!
In whichever mode, players play however they please (as there aren't really "established" Gauntlet Slayer Edition rules and only suggested ones) but I did get what you mean. Had there been things to follow aside from what are mentioned on the Steam Subscriber Agreement, they would have been stated and implemented by authorities (in-game, etc.). LOL. Players pay for their gaming experience. If you get kicked while playing Endless Mode, Topic Starter, I suggest you just make a private or public room and be the host or join another game. If you feel so violated, why not take proofs and report? Not that complicated and difficult, if you'd ask me.
Much like mentioned on the included comic book, people fight against one another if they don't cooperate within the Gauntlet.
Great points, though.
