"Checksum Crash"
So, on the loading screen, my game randomly crashes with no error message on the "Creating Checksum" part of the loading screen. I have tried to re-install it AND I have verified the game, can someone please help?

Same crash here. Not a problem with missing DLC as hinted elsewhere. I bought the full HoI3 collection and I see product keys for all expansions, up to (and including) TfH.

The game crashes during the first launch while doing the checksum routine right after the japanese kamikaze pilot shows up and the checksum message appears.

Hands off until Paradox and Steam fix this install mess. Seems like one or both companies have a problem with this multiple DLC pack...

Try this
go to the folder programfiles/steam/steamapps/common/HOI3/Maps/Cache and delete everything in the folder (but not the folder itself) then try to reload the game. No more patches are coming only the sequal since this game was designed to run on windows xp
