East vs. West is a different game with different mechanics developed by BL-Logic, focusing on the Cold War. Hearts of Iron IV is being developed by Paradox Development Studio, focusing on the Second World War. Both games are being published by Paradox Interactive.

i thought Heart of iron 3 was about WW2? why making another WW2 game? (Heart of Iron IV)

Yeah but don't forget it's taken about 4 years to get HOI3 to the state it's in today because of all the updates and expansions. It's great news, I agree, but I might not live for another 4 years!! Lol

Yes, but they learned a lot, during the past years, making games like CK2 or EUIV, I guess this will be really awesome, I am waiting eagerly.

This is good, but please try to provide us with some decent Ai and events. The first time you guys released HoI3, it was buggy and the Ai was very poor. No more lacklustre games please. Give us the real thing. ;)
