Hearts of Iron III Their Finest Hour problem

When i am playing any country and starting in 1936, at 26 february 11:00 hour (game time) game stops working, it turns off without any error, or even "hoi3_tfh.exe has stopped working" window. This problem appears always when i am starting at 1936. Same problem appears when starting in 1938, but there it's some day in march. Please for quick answer.

I suppose its either your computer or something got corrupted during the process (I don't know if this will help,but when i transfered from semper fi to for the motherland,it seemed to help if you delete your old game saves)

My computer have the required components, i checked that, and i don't have any old savegames, only two in TFH.

Sounds like you got a ♥♥♥♥ torrent or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up your unpacking mr I don't have it in my account.

Have the same problem. Have tried it with a fresh install on a different computer. Its one of teh bugs they dont seem to acknowledge or cant be bothered fixing. Like the "Thier finest hour" selection menu is blank.

So annowed that after buying ALL the DLC twice (once thourhg Gamers gate and once through steam) no-one seems able to answer this. Dev's I know you're busy with HOI4 but if you can't even look after HOI3 why should I buy the next version and face similar issues?

Try verifying the integrity of the game cache. Right click on the game in your library, click properties, then local files, then verify integrity of game cache.

Tried cheking cache, everything is ok. It worked perfectly on my Windows 7. My actual system is Windows 8.1.

Hmm, it may be a conflict with the operating system. Are you running 32 bit or 64 bit?

I am running 64 bit system.

The game is a bit old, perhaps you have to run it in compatability mode.

Actually the basic HOI3 exe is not able to adress more than 2G of RAM. It needs to be compiled with a flag to be allowed to adress more memory.

The Podcat's hoi3.exe do that. Search it in the paradox forum or create a .exe with the flag with Large Address Aware( very useful for old games like rome 1 total war)

I have Windows XP, do you recommend using the LAA program? I have 3GB of RAM, it seems to address 64bit systems though.

Now when used LAA game lagging (not crashing) at 12:00 4 March 1936. What the hell is wrong with this game?!
