In HOI3 Black ice you have to find and allocate transports fleet/ships and then load troops onto transports making sure the load capacity of transports is enough to load said units if you want to reinforce the conquest of Ethiopia.
I've seen in HOI4 in 1941 the AI making amphibious landings larger than D-day. In fact the base size of units that can conduct amphibious landing is 10.
Historically there was always a shortage of specialized amphibious landing craft that had to be allocated between Europe and Asia and within Europe and Asia there was huge arguments between the Med and France as well as in Pacific you had Central Pacific/ the move up from the Solomons and Burma theater.
I haven't played either in 5 years but I plan to start up 4 again soon. I have 620 hours with 3 and around 40 hours with 4.
4 has nicer graphics and better unit production.
Can Hoi5 have polar regions?
during play while scrolling map the player should be able to say go from Russia to Canada or Argentina to India. Under harsh conditions. Im betting many expeditions would perish under weather conditions alone.

Are there rules and exceptions to robing post?
