Anyone still playing HOI3 multiplayer in 2022 ?
I've been working on my HOI3 degree for about a year now, and I would love to experience this game in a multiplayer setting. Are there any active multiplayer communities for this game? Or at the very least a group of madlads who would like to get together and start a group for this? With or without mods is fine.

If I find no avenues to play HOI3 multiplayer, I'll just have to pick up HOI4 !

I'm trying but HOI3 is having issues running on my laptop and I've been troubleshooting forever. HOI2 and HOI4 are working just fine though.

Yes.. alternative and better software to hamachi is ZeroTier.

Don't know if this will help you but there was/is a resource usage/ram? fix. You should be able to get it at Paradox.

Just look in "Support" for "HoI3-fix"

how do you play multiplayer? i tried a while back and couldnt figure out how me and my buddy could join. also if on multiplayer does the game still crash?

You play the game via LAN. That means, unless your friend is in the same local network as you are, you need a software that emulates a LAN over the internet.
