Fresh install of HoI3 keeps crashing
the launcher give a bunch of errors, able to load game but it crashes just minutes after. How would I try and fix this?

... should not matter for HoI3, but maybe it's the same issue, I have with some other Paradox titles with their freaking Launcher: Steam > Settings > Cloud > "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for titles that support it" the first time you start it.

Just a vague guess. Worth a try?

Check the beta settings?

For a harsh baptism to hoi3 install the mod


While playing getting an early save after two or three game days but before nine days helps me with crashes. After first save getting a save every 5 days or so also helps.

take game out of the steam folder and put it into the C drive, or straight onto the desktop. Then download and install podcat.exe

This works for me with Win10

Alright, good to know. I moved the game and files over to my local drive over lunch, hoping it works.
