Thanks for the question. Didn't think about it but ww1 mod sounds like fun. I already downloaded it and as soon as I have finished my random hoi game I go for Tannenberg

What I like about the WW1 mod the most is that because aircraft are in their infancy, you can actually build a navy as Germany and challenge the Royal navy.

Yes, I imagined it exactly the other way round. I normally soften up the british navy with Naval bombers and only after they have done most of the work my fleet leaves harbour. It just costs too much ic to build up a navy

So after downloading and playing I gotta say - love the mod. The only drawback is it has a tendency to crash now and again. Not frequently, and it's possible my machine is at fault. So I wont hold it against the mod. I can definitely recommend the mod.

And after downloading the mod I can't start hoi anymore. Launcher opens and when I hit the button play the launcher closes and nothing happens. Already un- and reinstalled it. That's annoying.

You tried to start what HOI version? Normal or WW1, i know that some mods delete files from the original game, So if you want to play the original again you need to reinstall :/
