grab attacks

is there any other way to avoid but dodge? Because most enemies are able to dash-grab me even around corners. And it's usually a one-hit kill

Nope dodging is only way to avoid it. Any red attack is dodge only and grabs are red attacks. They are annoying.

it would be less annoying if they didn't track while you're dodging. At least for the first shells, they really don't have much in the way of getting around that other than hoping you made enough distance with your dodge animation. Cause it doesn't seem like you get any i-frames with it.

Yes you have to dodge them. They do track you, but the easiest way to dodge them is to wait for the wind up and dodge just before they lunge
