PlayStation®VR2 App

PlayStation®VR2 App

Can you now play GT7 on PC w/ Steam?
Can you now play GT7 on a PC without owning a PlayStation 5 console?
& would it then also give you access to other PlayStation ONLY titles currently unavailable to play on PC? Along with access to The PlayStation Network / Marketplace?

Or is it basically JUST a VR headset as a ‘monitor’ to play Steam games you could play with an oculus etc?

Can you now play "GT7" on a PC without owning a PlayStation 5 console? (Highly doubt it. hey anything is possible w/ money and time)

It's just to play steam VR games using the headset you already have. Opens up possibility of custom drivers though.

If the game is on PC and runs through SteamVR you will be able to play it on PSVR2 through the PC adapter and SteamVR drivers like you can any other headset compatible with SteamVR (Vive, Index, etc.)

If a game is not on PC then you will not be able to play it on PC.

I am not familiar with the game you are talking about but after googling it, it seems to be a playstation exclusive. So you can only play it on console.

Play this one, similar theme, and the fun is amazing:

(Street Champ VR)

(This is not a joke, this is really an amazing dollar game.) :p2chell:

It only takes 2 minutes of online search to realize that this is very likely never going to happen: (almost all the reasons I bought PSVR2 are not supported )

Feature differences with PS VR2 on PS5

PS VR2 was designed from the ground up specifically for PS5 – so you’ll notice that some key features, like HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback (other than rumble), are not available when playing on PC. However, other high-fidelity and sensory immersion features of PS VR2 are supported, including 4K visuals (2000 x 2040 per eye), 110-degree field of view, finger touch detection, and see-through view, as well as foveated rendering (without eye tracking) and 3D Audio in supported games.***

While the most immersive way to experience PS VR2 gaming remains on PS5, we hope players will enjoy the ability to play an expanded lineup of VR games on PC using the same headset. You can check out Steam’s huge library of multiplayer open worlds, survival horror and stealth action games, sports sims, puzzlers, and free-to-play fan favorites on the Steam Store.

Unfortunately no. It's PS5 exclusive.

Just play modded Assetto Corsa or ACC. You also got Project cars 2, 3 that have VR modes. Automobilista 2 (probably the best in VR racing). Iracing has VR, Dirt Rally 2, Raceroom. Yes it would be nice to have GT7 on PC but Sony is reserving games to promote their platform.

Gran Turismo 7 isnt on PC. It would be amazing if it were, but right now there's nothing official. I remember seeing an Nvidia leak that it was coming to PC, however, Gran Turismo 8 is in development currently, so it feels like we will have to wait for that instead.

I've been playing pc vr since 2019. I've played a lot of vr games.
This is the only car game I've turned on:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1201640/Island_Explorer_VR/
edit: Island Explorer VR (removed from the store) - driving an off-road car on a tiny island

You really care about one game with cars ??
I don't know anything about it but there are at least a few good vr games with cars for pc vr.

It may not be obvious to you, but there are a lot of interesting games for pc vr. Your choice will not be limited to 30 titles like on ps vr2 (that's probably how many were when I was once curious).

The most interesting vr games are simple motion games like beat saber.
In vr, completely different titles attract attention. This was my mistake at first, I was looking for games similar to flat games that I liked. But these are not the best games that vr offers.

Uh, Gran Turismo was the gold standard for racing sims for multiple decades. Its the whole reason the racing sim genre is what it is today. It's a legendary game series. You can argue that there are better sims out there, sure, but none of them would exist if Gran Turismo didn't. GT is what defined the genre we know today.

I don't argue which is better, for me all vr car simulators could not exist.
As I said, I haven't even turned on any yet, although I have one from the package.
