nobody considers that....as VR is for gaming. period.
Not sure about battery. Probably depends on your cable. Default cable is not very long and had not the best output, so I've bought more powerful one for $10. But it also could depend on your pc port
So yes, you need to spent ~30 bucks more to get more comfort
If this will support all of usual Steam VR apps, then you will be able to enjoy 3D/VR movies on PC
BTW, if you gonna use this much time wired I wonder if your psvr2 cables will break faster than oculus battery. Oculus cable is easy to replace. What about psvr2?
https://www.reddit.com/r/PSVR/comments/1elaajg/psvr2_vs_quest3_through_the_lens_comparison/
Yes, the PSVR2 is blurry on the edges and yes, the Q3 is sharp. That's it basically. PSVR2 has got oled screens with nice colors and deep blacks. Since the App isn't available yet i cannot test it yet without the dongle but will do once it is available.
The connection is actually a proper display port connection and not a streamed "over usb" connection like the Q3 uses.
Don't be so quick to judge.
As he writes in the picture, this is the image from the camera through the lens.
Don't forget that the quest 3 has flat lenses that make it very easy to film.
And ps vr2 has fresnel lenses through which recording with the camera is difficult and does not reflect what you see.
Do you remember recording an old TV with a camera, this is probably a good comparison, the camera sees differently than the human eye.
In the same way, you can record the light of an infrared LED with a camera, and you will see it on the video.
Personally, I watched the whole movie and I think it is biased.
After watching these three films, I lost respect for this filmmaker.
I'm waiting for more reliable videos.
The moment the battery is full, the charging stops.
Why does this old myth of overcharging batteries keeps popping up?
Test it yourself with any modern device with a battery, the charger will get warm when it's charging the device, but when the battery is full it will go back to idle temps because it's not charging anymore, and if it is, it's probably peanuts of idle current.
This ain't your old NiCd battery technology.
