How do you install mods for EU3?

Download whichever mod you like, make sure it's matches the version of EU3 you have, and you have all the required expansions. Extract the folder into the mod folder of your EU3 folder, and then use the launcher to select which mod you want. If you want to launch the mod directly from Steam, you'll have to modify the command line.

Get the mods from the Paradox EU3 User Mods forum. Each mod either has its own forum or own thread there; install instructions for each one are there too. The main thing is, do NOT install them OVER your vanilla EU3 installation, but in a mod directory.

I was trying to run mods but I always run into the same problem. At their start-up, the first stages of loading load almost instantly, but during the loading of map logic of the mod I get an error message saying:

./discfile.ccp, line: 55

after which the game is force closed. Could anyone either be so helpful as to tell me how to fix this problem?

Impossible to tell from your description what the exact problem is. Each mod only runs with a certain version of EU3, and has its own install instructions. Best to go to the mod author's thread or forum as I described in my previous post, and get help there.

hi. im trying to get EU3 civilzation mod to work. I copyed the download into eu3 mods folder. Dont know what to do now. this is my first download and i dont know what im doing. I have found a laucher file but what do i do from there? please help.

just launch the game frome the .exe in the folder and pick the mod from the drop down thing.

You have to download a mod got your europa universalis 3 complete folder drag it to the mod folder and open the launcher (Titled Eu3) Click the button were it says default and change it to your mod.
