how do you disable the console

i was wondering if any one knows of a way to disable console commands. in every game i play i end up cheating than i lose interest in the game cause i cheated. its a vicious cycle for me and the only way i can fix is by removing my ability to cheat ;p

Check if you can unbind the console key, won't solve the problem but at least you'll not just be able to open the console and type in "cash" as soon as you need some money.

i was so happy when they removed cheeting in the total war games ;p in m2tw and rtw i ruin many of a good game cause i cheeted. when empire came out i was thank god i cant cheet! i hope eu4 removes cheeting or make it a option before you start a game to disable cheeting. i had the same problem with civilization, in civ 2 i ruin many of a game cheeting, in civ 3 they gave you a option before the start of the game to remove cheeting, and i was thankful ;p

making it a option i can understand removeing it is dumb. it not hard to not cheat

they should make it a toggle option in the options before you start a game. it shoulnt be hard to do. the makers of civ realized it was a issue for many people that cant resist it. so they made it a option instead of a can do it any time. in civ 2 you got no score for it. but who cared about the final score in a mostly single player game in a time of phone line internet.

Seriously, if you cannot refrain from cheating... I don't know. Remove the key from your keyboard (no, you don't need ot break it, just take it off) and you should be fine.
