Best Country to play as
As the title says, what is the best country. I hate playing as a big country, only to get my ass handed to smaller country with their alliance. I can't have fun without cheating.

denmark is pretty cool, also its funnier if you get britain in a union with the,

There is a thread in the Paradox EU3 forum titled something like "why to play as any particular country", you'll find excellent discussion in there.

I'm playing as scicily and its nicley balanced, its not to weak and has room to expand, but there's certainly challenge

There are plenty of fun nations, my favotire 3 are Sweden, Prussia (Teutonic Order) and Byztantium. The absolute BEST nation however is Austria, it's utterly op with the game mechanics, play them and you'll see why very quickly.

get the death and taxes mod and play the unioned sicilian state i forget what their called by i turned into sicily with em and am reforming the roman empire >:)

Well...DON'T play as Inca....as i just discovered earlier, they haven't fixed the bug. so Inca still can't buy boat no matter how high you get navel....plus no matter how you play you will still be in the range 1-4 in tech when the europeans arrive with 18+ techs, so not even sure why they made the Indians when you can't do ♥♥♥♥... but a smaller country that is kinda nice is the Papel state, which i turned into "The Kingdom of God" last week and ofc Denmark and Teutonic Order is fun aswell.....maybe even Nogorod, but they are just to easy imo

Well if you want an easy game, play as France, Portugal or England.
