And yeah EU4 requires a lot, it is the reason I didn't buy my laptop is way too far behind the requirements, yours also is if you can't run CKII properly.
Thanks a lot for the info. I'm probably just gonna pick up the DLC, ones I'm finished with this CK2 game. (Need to alternate a bit between games, so I don't get tired of them)
As for EU4, I will usually be playing it on my desktop which is pretty capable.
(4.4GHz overclocked i5, 16gb ram, GTX660) CK2 runs flawlessly over 3x Screens (504x1050 res)

Playing on my laptop is just an added bonues for when I go away etc.
You should also be able to play it in laptop to some extent, the problem is the same as other paradox games in that with a computer below the recomended(not minimum) you tend to waste a lot of time waiting when nothing really important is happening since your fastest speed is not really that fast.
It includes all expansion packs and the base game - and EU IV isn't really fun for now.
