Difference of Complete, Chronicles and Collection
Europa Universalis lll is on sale currently from various vendors who provide a Steam Key
There are different versions of EUlll floating around and here is a summary :

Europa Universalis III Complete
EU III as well as the expansions "In Nomine" and "Napoleon's Ambition"

Europa Universalis III: Chronicles
Same as EU III Complete plus has expansions "Heir to the Throne" and "Divine Wind "

Europa Universalis III Collection
EU III: Complete + Chronicles + spritepacks

Posted this because thinking about "Chronicals" but discovered it had no spritepacks and "Complete" implies well COMPLETE, however COLLECTION here is the entire lock stock and barrel version.

You only need Chronicles as it contains all the expansions. Complete was released before Heir to the Throne and Divine Wind were released. Important to note this game was released before the present patching system of newer Paradox titles. Each Expansion patchs the game. So with upto Divine Wind the game will be patched to version 5.2

Depends on whether you want the unit sprites. But they are only cosmetics so If you feel your life is incomplete without them it would be best to get them in the collection when it's on sale rather than buying them seperately.

Steam Winter sale starts in 3 hours

https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?607482-EU3-Help-me-grok-this-damn-game!/page17 to see an interface difference between COMPLETE and Chronicles /Collection, the biggest I noticed right off was the "completely different province interface, including the little graphical representation of your province capital." I'd lke to see that feature returned.

On patch 3.2 for COMPLETE the tutitoral for moving the army from one province to another still seems inactive, the next event afterwards does not go.
