Is the Main Protag Drifter(You) A guy or gal?

There's nothing in-game that shows or tells if the Drifter is a girl or guy.
So, they are whichever you want them to be. :)

I think the devs have referred to the drifter a few times as he, but this might just be a slip with using English. There's nothing in game so feel free to assume that they're either one. Or that they're neither as blink said.

Don't agree with him calling you stupid though. It was a valid question.

Guy. The currently kickstarter exclusive alt drifter is a gal.

But as said before, the character is kind of generic and covered enough for you to interpret whatever.

I do not think he symbolises masculine traits alone. I think both drifter, the main and the alternate character. Both display androgynous features to allow the player to make up their own mind. Despite what the devs say.

The devs have referred to him as a male, and I see nothing wrong with establishing that as a trait. They likewise refer to the alternate drifter (as in, the one with the wolf helm and the two-eyed companion sprite that's playable for KS Backers) as a female.

Of course, headcanons are headcanons. Believe whatever you want.
