In NG+ does everything carry over? You gearbits, keys, monoliths, costumes, weapons, and upgrades? Or do you have do find them all over again?

New Game+ is treated like a new game file. It's basically hard mode where you're locked into a black costume and all of your character/sword upgrades are already purchased. You still have to find gearbits to upgrade your guns, buy grenades, and health upgrades.

Okay. I haven't challenged the final boss yet. If I do that and beat it can I still play on my regular game file? So I can collect everything?

Yeah. You'll start right in front of the final boss if you load the completed save.

yep, since NG+ is just hard mode, you still need to get them all again if you want to have an NG+ 100% too :D

Same problem, can't find the gun, did the whole north area right up to the boss without it.

It's definitely a glitch because you are supposed to start with your pistol in NG+. I've seen some mention that you can make your way back to the tutorial area and find it but I'm not sure how.

there's a hidden path in the north back to the tutorial area - should be possible to visit it. in NG+, it skipped the tutorial, i wonder if they just didnt make it give you the gun regardless

The gun simply isn't equipped by default in NG+.

All you gotta do is go into your menu and select it.

it was not available at the start for me. i had to go to the tutorial area to get it, fortunately it was there

just started a second NG+ game just to see, and it was there and equipped... must be a bug as someone earlier said

For anyone wondering, starting NG+ is an option in the main menu. You can select your completed game (although, I don't know why you'd do that) or start it on a blank save

I wonder if this is an intentional sdie efect of skipping the tutorial. Would be kinda funny if it is.
