What's with the giant aztec-ish statue head?

In the Messenger world for B, if you turn around at the very beginning and run in the stream to the rock wall, you'll drop into a deep area and go through a long, underwater tunnel and pop out into a giant cave with a giant statue head that looks like it belongs in an old 3D movie. You also start moving slower when you get close to it.

That thing freaked me out when I first found it but the rocks telling jokes really helped to lighten the mood. :p

I don't know if it was me but I couldn't make out what they where saying to each other.

Yeah me neither. You just click on each rock and there's a weird line that sticks up and I just heard weird murmurs. So there are no stars or anything here?

There is a bug in steam version of the game that the dialog text doesn't show up at all. Check the youtube video to see the text.

And the bug is still present, over a year later. Annoying.

If they can't fix it, how hard would it be to just add one of those QR codes to inform users of the bug, rather than making us think we're failing some critical step in some activation sequence.

p.s. A direct link to a YouTube video for this short sequence would be helpful, rather than having to wade through a video containing spoilers.

Both of those videos are unbearable to watch.
Both of them can't just stand still and look at the rocks when they speak.
They had ONE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ JOB...
And then second guy adds insult to injury calling slowdown a "gravitational pull" while not being "pulled" or attracted to anything in particular.
