Even more so when the traditional tilde key isn't even a tilde key on some keyboards (such as Japanese ones).

If UK keyboards are any guide, the key that's in the same place as tilde is on US keyboards still counts as the tilde key for purposes of getting at the console even though it doesn't when actually typing into the console's input line.
In using alt-f1 to make stereoscopic screen shots, the console always opens and ruins the shot.
BTW, the game looks absolutely terrific in stereo-3D. Only a few broken effects, that we can fix.
