Is there a command/way to toggle the UI on and off?
Has anyone found a way to make the UI turn invisible by chance? It's unobtrusive for the most part, but it would be nice if there was some way to switch it on and off just to make screenshots a little more pretty.

there are 2 commands in the console, one for hiding the hud and one for hiding the crosshair. Hit tilde, type hud or cross and you 'll see them. Then you can set them to 0. Haven't messed around with the console much though, so I don't know if you can bind them both to one key like you do in the Unreal engine for example.

What's the command? "hidehud" ..?
Solais 13 DIC 2014 a las 7:58 a. m.
Actually, hit tilde or the key before "1", type in hud, press TAB, and select the command.

Instead of tilde, I usually tell people to press F1. It's the same binding, but we put F1 there exactly because it is easier to explain. Explaining where tilde is on different keyboards is mission impossible. :)

Even more so when the traditional tilde key isn't even a tilde key on some keyboards (such as Japanese ones).

That too. :)

If UK keyboards are any guide, the key that's in the same place as tilde is on US keyboards still counts as the tilde key for purposes of getting at the console even though it doesn't when actually typing into the console's input line.

TIL the tilde key can be very troublesome...
Solais 13 DIC 2014 a las 5:03 p. m.
It's actually the 0 key to me, the tilde is ctrl+alt+1. That's why I said "the key before "1" ". Didn't know about the F1 one, huh.

Is there any way to remap the F1 to something else? I can remap a bunch of other keys, but apparently not this one?

In using alt-f1 to make stereoscopic screen shots, the console always opens and ruins the shot.
AlenL 14 MAR 2016 a las 12:02 a. m.
Unfortunately not. I suppose it is not possible to remap Alt+F1 to something else either?
arfWignack 14 MAR 2016 a las 1:57 a. m.
Thanks for letting me know. No way to remap alt-F1 either that I can find so far.

BTW, the game looks absolutely terrific in stereo-3D. Only a few broken effects, that we can fix.
