Help with the clock puzzle in the 3rd door? (Spoilers for early in the game!)
Still in the first area of the hub, inside the third door, the circular area, there's a "blank" QR code that reads:

...

...

(Avoiding accidental thread preview spoilers) (Avoiding accidental thread preview spoilers) (Avoiding accidental thread preview spoilers)

"THE EAGLE HAS LANDED 31 39 36 39 2f 30 37 2f 32 30 20 32 30 3a 31 38 Now is the time of tranquility, and I shall rest and observe the Earth -- Uriel4"

Searching for both the time of tranquility and observing the Earth, I mostly come across stuff related to Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech, a random smattering of Bible passages, and of course due to the start of the QR code's message, quite a bit of moon landing stuff.

On the reverse side of the pillar that holds this QR code is a clock that shows what time it is and is a reference point for the 24-hour analog clock.

Surrounding the center platform are 24 pillars, each with a roman numeral on them, of course ranging from I to XXIV, at the base of each pillar is a button.

I've been assuming you simply have to enter the correct time as referenced by an event, i.e. I tried the moon landing Eagle has landed quote, which was delivered at 4:17:43 EDT. Of course, since it's analog with only 24 buttons, you can only enter approximate times. I've tried a few bible passages, the actual time, moving my PC's time to these hours, etc. Nothing so far.

I don't straight up want the answer, but I'd like a hint in the right direction. Is there some information in-game that I simply haven't accessed yet? Am I on the wrong path entirely? At this point I think I'm either way overthinking this or I'm down a completely incorrect line of thinking or simply don't have the requisite information yet.

Well, I know that you can only enter 3 clicks on the pillars before they reset, but that's all I've got so far.

Now that's gone and raised more questions! Do I take the previous input I had for the time of the comment and adjust for the speed of light? Am I entering the incorrect time due to special relativity or some other factor? I couldn't find any one idea to focus on!

it's easier, it just time when Apollo11 landed on the moon, ignore seconds

Ahh, thanks! I would've wracked my brain on that for days!

I'm still unsure of the input method... You can't enter exact minutes insofar as I can tell. Am I entering EDT? UTC? 4:18(/16:18 since it's 24:00 format) or 20:18?

Well if you've tried almost everything... Try entering the day and month.

Still the issue of having to (I think) hit 3 buttons but I can't figure out how to get a time (ignoring seconds) or a date work like this.

If I wanted to enter 6/20 or 20/6 would I just hit VI -> XX/XX -> VI? Would I have to enter 06, and would XXIV act as a 0? Argh! This is so unclear and I've overcomplicated it to the point where I can't get a good perspective on it anymore! There's so many possibilities just by regional formatting of dates and time!
Hmm, yes. Overcomplicating it you are.

Bring it back down for me! Simplify it so I don't get a headache!
Well, I'm not sure how to put it without spoiling things, but let's just start with how many buttons you have to push: It's two. Just two buttons.

Also about the numbers themselves... They are one or two digit numbers, a button is a single number. So they must be numbers from 1 to 24 wouldn't you agree?

Well, diggity-dang. That does simplify things. Okay, this shouldn't be so hard.

Also, in my quest to make this literally impossible I appear to have mixed up June and July, which explains why I didn't get it from your earlier hint. Overcomplicate it and then get the simple parts wrong! I'm so bad!

But I got it now, thanks for the help. Next time I'll keep it simple.

The puzzle is just way too out of context and broad.

I'm personally not a fan of such puzzles, they shatter authentic atmosphere and consistence of the gameplay. In my personal opinion it was simply poor design.

Yeah, I agree. I really like where they were going with it, but there could've been a M/D or something hidden in the QR code so I'd know what to input. I don't even feel bad that I had to ask for help because I don't know if I ever would've come to the conclusion of day and date, especially with the clock there, which threw me off in all the wrong ways.

That said, every other puzzle in the game has been excellent.
